Nicole, Linda and Julee
Nicole has been with NDS for several years. She has been with the toddlers for the past three years. Nicole received her Child Development Associate Degree (CDA) in 2005. A CDA is a national effort to improve childcare by evaluating and recognizing the skills of individuals providing care. It is awarded by the Council for Professional Recognition in Washington, D.C. which represents the early childhood profession. Every candidate for the CDA credential is observed working with young children by an early childhood professional. The candidate must also demonstrate the ability to work with families to develop children’s physical and intellectual capabilities in a safe and healthy learning environment. We are very fortunate to have Nicole with us and she and Linda make a great team. Nicole is CPR and First Aid Certified.
Linda has been at NDS for several years. Certified in CPR and First Aid Linda has attended classes through Community College of Vermont entitled Fundamentals. This fundamental class introduces professionals working with young children skills and core knowledge in various areas of child development. Some of these areas include: teaching skills, how to establish healthy and safe learning environments, professionalism and program organization.
Linda is a very nurturing person and the children love to be with her. She and Nicole love to provide varied art projects that truly have the children’s best interests at heart.
Julee has been with us for several years. She has spent time with all of our age groups as our floater. Julee spends time in the crawler room, toddler room, and the infant room. The children love to see her and spend time with her. She has a warm personality and is very caring when it comes to the children in her care. Julee continues to attend workshops pertaining to early education to further her knowledge in this field. Julee is CPR and First Aid Certified.
