Pre-K Staff

 

Christy, Jodi, and Leslie

Christy has been with NDS for almost two years. Christy began her time here as a part time substitute filling in for us when we needed her. She has pretty much worked in every room here at NDS. Christy has much experience working with young children. She has worked previously at the Bromley Child Care Center with infants up to school age children. Christy has a quiet way about herself and the children just gravitate toward her. She gets down to their level and looks each as an individual. Christy is CPR and First Aid Certified.

 

Jodi has been with us for a year now and we are pleased to have her as a teacher in our pre-k room.  Jodi has worked in the childcare field for over 10 years. She was a head preschool teacher for three and four year olds, a director at a child care center where she not only was the director but provided care to children six weeks old to age seven.  She has also worked at the Head Start of Bennington County. Jodi comes to us with a wealth of knowledge pertaining to the field of early childhood education and had taken the 45 hour Fundamentals Workshop through CCV. Jodi is CPR and First Aid Certified.

 

Leslie had been at NDS for several years. She began her time here volunteering in the pre-k room which in fact she does every Thursday morning. After volunteering for some time she began subbing for us and helping in the pre-k room during the teachers planning time. She has also been running the after school program for quite some time now and is much loved by the after school children. Leslie is warm, friendly, and very energetic. Leslie is First Aid and CPR Certified. We are very fortunate to have her here at NDS.
