Infant Two Staff

Annie, Ashley, Michelle, and Julee

Annie has been with NDS for many years. She began working in our after school program then settled in our infant room. Annie obtained her Child Development Associate (CDA) in 2003. A CDA is the only major national effort to improve childcare by evaluating and recognizing the skills of individuals providing care. As part of the CDA assessment process, every candidate for the CDA credential is observed working with young children by an early childhood professional.  The candidate must demonstrate the ability to expand children’s physical and intellectual capabilities in a safe and healthy learning environment. Annie has a nurturing and caring style when it comes to infants care. Annie is CPR and First Aid Certified.

Ashley E. will be celebrating her second year here and we are very pleased to have her here at NDS. Ashley has her CDA, Child Development Associate and also her Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Ashley has worked in our Sr.T room for the past two years and wanted to make a change to the infant room.  Her warm and friendly personality really puts the children at ease creating a nurturing atmosphere. Ashley is CPR and First Aid Certified.

Michelle has been with us for several years. Michelle works part time in both infant rooms covering breaks and than spends the rest of her day in Infant 1. Michelle has a nurturing, sensitive, caring way about her. Her calm mannerism has a real soothing effect on the infants. She thoroughly enjoys holding and caring for the babies. Being a parent of a young a child herself, she is very aware of the needs of young children. Michelle was also a child care provider in her home for three years. She cared for children from newborn to 13 years old. Michelle provides an array of educational activities for the children in her care. We are fortunate to have her here with us. Michelle is CPR and First Aid Certified.

Julee, also, has been here with us for the many years. She has spent time with all of our different age groups as the floater. Julee spends time in the crawler room, toddler room and the infant room. The children love to see her and spend time with her. She has a warm personality and is very caring. Julee is always on the lookout for different workshops pertaining to early education to further her knowledge. NDS is lucky to have someone like Julee on our staff.  Julee is CPR and First Aid Certified.
