Ways to Contribute to our School

NDS Annual Fund:

The Northshire Day School depends upon the generosity of our community to offset our operating costs.  The Annual Giving Campaign is the cornerstone of our fundraising efforts. This campaign provides the school with the necessary resources to ensure that the Day School experience continues to be safe, enriching, and successful. The staff and the children, appreciate the generosity shown over the years.  Times are not easy, and we see many more challenges for all the families who take part in what NDS offers for infants, pre-school, and after-school services. Continued annual contributions will be deeply appreciated and we hope many more will support this vital community resource.

 

Irene Hunter Scholarship Fund:

The Northshire Day School is forever grateful to Mrs. Irene Hunter for her substantial contributions in propelling our day school into an unparalleled early educational center.  Her energy and enthusiasm as chair of our fund-raising committee never wavered, and without her the Northshire Day School would not be the excellent childcare facility it is today.   In memory of Mrs. Hunter we have established a scholarship program to help families in financial need with tuition.

 

The Northshire Day School Enrichment Grant:

During the NDS building campaign, a decision was made to share, when possible, some small funding for enrichment activities with other, early education centers in the area, once the campaign was finished and the school established. In the spirit of this goal and in continuation of providing stimulating and developmentally appropriate programming, we are delighted to offer our first Northshire Day School Enrichment Grant. This grant opportunity is available for application by childcare providers within the Northshire and extended communities of southern Vermont.  The details of the grant provisions and application process are available by emailing Carol Kern, Executive Director, at ndschool@myfairpoint.net
