Crawler Room Staff

 

Jamie, 1 to 2 year olds

Jamie has three young children of her own so she knows what it takes to care for young children. Jamie has also worked in a childcare setting before and really has a nice way about her. Her calm mannerism has a real soothing effect on the children in her care. The children gravitate to her and enjoy being with her. She, Julee, and Michelle will make a great team. Certified in CPR and First Aid Jamie has just finished a class with Community College of Vermont entitled Fundamentals. This is a forty-five hour workshop that introduces professionals working with young children and their family's skills and core knowledge in areas including child development, teaching and learning, families and communities, healthy and safe learning environments, professionalism and program organization. Jamie is CPR and First Aid certified.

Michelle D., 1 to 2 year olds

We are fortunate to have Michelle join our crawler room team. Michelle had worked at the Stratton Employee Childcare as a lead teacher for the past 6 years.  She comes to us with a wealth of information pertaining to the field of early education. Michelle has her CDA, Child Development Associate, and has taken many professional development workshops revolving around early care and education.  We are very excited to have Michelle here at NDS.  Michelle is First Aid and CPR certified.

 

Julee, floater
Julee has been here with us for several years. She has spent time with all of our different age groups as the floater. Julee spends time in the crawler room, toddler room, and the infant two rooms. The children all love to see her and spend time with her. She has a warm personality and is very caring when it comes to the children in her care. Julee is always on the lookout for different workshops pertaining to early education to further her knowledge in this field. NDS is lucky to have someone like Julee on our staff. Julee is also CPR and First Aid Certified and completed the Fundamental course a few years ago.
